It's already been 40 years of cinema. But before that, I graduated in journalism at PUC Rio. There, I met Silvio Tendler and that's how I went to work, first as an intern, then as a production assistant, on the documentary JANGO, in 1981. Then I went to work on other films.

And when I saw it, it had already been in the movies forever.

I did production for some 10 years.

In 1985 I was invited to do an internship in production at the German TV Sudwestfunk, in Baden-Baden. There, the news was on video, but the programs were filmed on 16 mm. It had an imaging lab, editing rooms with Steenbeck moviolas.

There, the desire to work in the post-graduate course was strong. In Germany it was four years (I speak English, French, German, Spanish and Italian - the latter in need of recycling...).

Upon returning, I changed permanently to post.

In fact, I'm surrounded by sound on all sides, with a husband and a twin brother both direct sound technicians.

In 1998, José Moreau Louzeiro, Simone Petrillo and I set up the Meios e Midia studio, in Botafogo, with sound editing and mixing.

I was a partner with them for fourteen years and now it's solo flying, new partnerships and horizons.
